Uyo, Nigeria
In a significant step to deepen its outreach and amplify its mission, Tony Digital 247 has officially launched the “Digital Literacy for All” branded T-shirt—a symbolic and strategic tool to drive awareness around digital inclusion in underserved communities.
The launch took place following the successful rollout of the Digital Literacy for All initiative in Ukanafun Local Government Area of Akwa Ibom State, Nigeria. This grassroots movement is committed to bridging the digital divide by providing free and affordable digital skills training to those who lack access due to economic or geographic barriers.
“The T-shirt is not just an item of clothing—it is a bold statement,” said a spokesperson from Tony Digital 247. “It represents hope, unity, and our shared belief that no one should be left offline.”
The T-shirt branding includes:
- Front: Tony Digital 247 official logo
- Back: The campaign name and slogan: “Digital Literacy for All – Bridging the Digital Divide, Together”
- Styles: Available in round format
The idea behind the T-shirt initiative is twofold: to create visual identity and visibility for the campaign, and to raise funds for training resources, internet access, meals for learners, and empowerment tools for high-performing trainees.
This launch comes as Tony Digital 247 prepares to expand the initiative across all 31 LGAs in Akwa Ibom State, with the long-term goal of scaling to other parts of Nigeria and the African continent.
About the Digital Literacy for All Initiative
Founded on the belief that access to digital tools and education should be a universal right, the Digital Literacy for All campaign targets individuals who lack access to smartphones, computers, internet, or training. Trainings cover everything from basic smartphone use and internet navigation to advanced skills like AI tools (ChatGPT, Copilot), social media for business, and digital entrepreneurship.
Supporters are encouraged to get involved by:
- Purchasing and wearing the official T-shirt
- Sponsoring a learner
- Volunteering for upcoming training events
- Sharing the campaign through social media
Proceeds from every T-shirt sold go directly to funding free digital education for learners who otherwise cannot afford it.
Images from the launch show supporters, volunteers, and trainees proudly wearing their branded shirts—a clear sign that the message is resonating: Digital Literacy for All is not just a slogan, it’s a movement in motion.
